proteus mirabilis is a gram negative rod shaped ,anaerobic bacteria,any bacterial infection can be transmitted sexually.Mostly seen in urine infection ,which becomes alkaline & leads to formation of renal stone.

If you have herpes, does your partner have to actually touch the infected area (whehter it has visible sores or not) in order the disease to be transmitted? For example...if you have sexual intercourse & your infected area is on your buttocks & they never touch your back side at all, can I still transmitt the disease. Please advise...
