Is Prolonged Use Of Skin-lite Cream For Black Spots Safe?
HI I AM ISHA,i have used skinlite cream for sometime.it is actually good on my skin.i had black spots on my face which were visibly reduced..but on discontinuing the use of the cream it again started becoming dark .how long am i suppose to use this cream.and after that what m i suppose to do ? il be greatful if you could answer my query
Skinlite is a steroid based cream and yes, initially it should good results by reducing pigmentation and dark spots convincing the user to continue using the same.
But on long-term use, it starts making the skin dependent. If you try stopping the use it can cause increased pigmentation and at times even rashes, excessive hairs, itching, pimples etc.
So it is not advisable to use any steroid based cream without consulting a skin specialist.
You should stop using the same and can use steroid free alternatives like Kojic acid and Vitamin E containing creams. Scrub your face twice a week using a face scrub.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
