Is Presence Of Bilateral Ovarian Cysts With Abdominal Cramps During Periods A Cause For Concern?
hi i have had my periods change legnth heaviness over the past few years. im nearly 49 i have had 7 children and dont use a contraception. i get pulmonary embolisms so i cant take the pill. ive complained over the past about pains leading up to and start of period. my bowel has always mucked up. recently i had a cat scan for veins and it said i had bilateral cysts on my overies the r aprox 3.79x3.37 the l is 2.67x 2.15 cm. should i be worried my grandmother had ovarian cancer

Hi, I think if cysts are clear, these are very small in size and there is nothing to worry about it. You can follow the size of cysts after 1 month on ultrasound. You can also get a CA125 level done to clear your doubt regarding cancer.
