Hello, thanks for asking on healthcaremagic. PCOD is a metabolic disorder involving the ovaries where multiple small cysts form in a necklace pattern in the bilateral ovaries. Ovulation might be irregular or absent in PCOD. Patients may conceive naturally or may require drugs like clomiphene to induce ovulation. First of all you should try to conceive naturally. Try for 6 months and if still not possible then you need to consult a gyneac for ovulation induction with clomiphene. In case in doubt you can get home test for pregnancy with urine pregnancy kit. two dark lines indicate positive test. First morning urine is preferred.
