Is Pregnancy Possible While On Irregular Usage Of Birth Control Pills?

Hello. I ve been on birth control for about a year now. And two weeks ago on Saturday and Sunday I had forgotten to take two pills in a row. I had a little bit of breakthrough bleeding. And so the next day on Monday I took two pills and the day after that, tuesday, I took 2 more pills and I continued to take one pill a day after that. That weekend on Sunday my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. This was last Sunday. It is now Saturday and I will be starting to take my 7 inactive birth control pills. Is it possible that I could be pregnant? And if I do not start bleeding next week could it be because of my breakthrough bleeding last week? And what are some symptoms of pregnancy in the first week?

I understand your concern.
Whenever you skip or miss the birth control pills or its intake is rescheduled, there is always a risk for becoming pregnant.
Hence, it is advised to continue with the pills, but also to use other modes of contraception like condoms or spermicides during such time while having intercourse, until you get your next periods.
