Is Pregnancy Possible While On Birth Control Pills?

Hi. I ve been on a combination birth control pill for years. I missed a pill Tuesday night but took it early Wednesday morning. I had unprotected sex and he came in me but I ve been back on my pill taking time perfectly now. My boobs are very sore but my period is supposed to start in 12 days. Am I pregnant or is my body PMS ing

Missing a tablet on Tuesday night and taking it in the Wednesday morning may not increase the risk of you getting pregnant. And this applies if you have taken the Wednesday night and the next doses perfectly.
General recommendation: If you miss a tablet, then it should be taken as soon as possible. Alternative methods of contraception like barriers (condoms) should be used for 7 days or until next menses.
Coming back to you, do use alternative forms for at least 7 days after missed dose. Though the chances of pregnancy are bleak now , it is still there. So if you do not get your menses for this cycle on time or beyond 2-3 days, you need to undergo pregnancy tests and consult an obstetrician.
