Is Pregnancy Possible Through Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?
Hi , I dont know how to put up this question. My partner and me got excited last night and he wasnt using a condom. We are trying it for the first time to have sex. He didnt penetrate into me though. But he was moving his penis near to the side of vagina and not into it. he ejaculated and moved away from me. so that it doest give me any complicatations. a little fell on the bed and not sure if there was anything on me. I read somewhere that if there is ejaculation some where near your vagina. there are chances that the sperm can get into your vagina. I am worried now. I dont want to get pregnant. My last menstual cycle was on march 15th. Plese let me know if i should take a contraceptive pill like i pill or not. what are the chances

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine, Dr. MANDAVI RAI's Response
Hello,
If the sperm has fallen near your vagina, there are chances that spermatogenesis might swim up, but chances are less. There is no point taking I pill right now. Just wait for three to four days, and if you don't get periods, then do a urine pregnancy test.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mandavi Rai
