Is Pregnancy Possible Post An IUD Insertion?

I am 20 yrs old, female, relatively healthy. I got an IUD inserted on sept 18, and then had sex on sept 27. The condom broke. I got my period the next day, and it continued for 16 days. It was generally heavy, but had a few days that it was lighter where i thought it was going to stop. I plan on taking an at home test tonight, but i want to know if its likely im pregnant? Also i dont want to keep it if i am, and would be aborting. Would i have to remove my IUD first? I really don t want to have to do that. What options would i have for abortion?

Hi

See an IUD insertion, does not always protect you from a pregnancy. I will tell you to take a urine pregnancy test and see what it states . Since you want to opt for abortion, you could take a medical abortion treatment if you have skipped 7 weeks since the date of your last period.
