Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Emergency Contraceptive Pill?

Hello! I had unprotected sex last June 11 around 3-4am. We did not finish and we only lasted for 6 minutes because i was scared he wasn t wearing any condom. I took nordette at 12pm and the second dosage at exactly 10pm. I had my withdrawal bleeding 6-7 days after. What I am worried now is that, I am experiencing nipple pain- i get nipple/breast pain before my regular period and acne breakouts. Could this be an early pregnancy sign or just a PMS?

Hello,

Nordette is a regular CP containing 21 pills or 28 pills. You should take this pill every day at the same time, 24 hours apart.

If you had unprotected sex & did not take emergency contraceptive pills or were careless with the regular CP & you missed your periods then you may be pregnant.

If you had scanty periods then you should get urine/ blood test done to confirm pregnancy, get connected with a gynae so that it can be treated/managed at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
