Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Contraceptives?

I have never missed a birth control pill(combination pill), but I am not good at taking them at the same time everyday. My last period started 12/5/14 and today marks the first day on my inactive pills, and I have not started my period. I had intercourse with my husband at around 1am on 12/25/2014. Al of the days following up to today i took the pill at the same time. Is it possible that my pills did not stop ovulation?

Hi,
Birth control pills are hormonal pills 7 they act by suppressing maturity of ovum/ovulation.For effectiveness a regular intake at specific time of a day is desired . Failing this there is possibility of ovulation.
You had sex on 13th day of your period & are taking remaining pills at given time.Still it depends on your intake before that ,weather there will bw conception or not.
Any way, if you have not skipped pills in between , wait patiently for period to start till your inactive pills are over- mostly you may get it late.In case you don't get blood HCG test done , if +ve you have to terminate the pregnancy- & either use IUD or be very regular with oral pills in future.
Thanks.
