Hi

Postinor taken correctly prevents 95% of expected pregnancies.
Though you took the first Postinor tablet correctly, you delayed the second tablet by 8 hours. So its efficacy is doubtful.

Consult your doctor. Intrauterine contraceptive devise inserted within 5 days of ovulation is very effective emergency contraception. It has the advantage of being continued as contraceptive method.

If you do not like this and if it is less than 72 hours from unprotected inter course you can repeat Postinor 2 correctly. However its efficacy decreases as the time from unprotected sex increases.

If you have any further queries do write to me. Good luck.
