Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Negative Pregnancy Test Results?

Hello, please help!Mt husband and I are od course sexually active. Our choice of birth control are condoms. I am five days late. I have had cramps for 2 weeks and diarhea for about 5 days. I also have yellowish discharge previously greenish and a different odor.I have been stressed out lately and have had sweating episodes out of nowhere my body begins to sweat and I feel really hot and frustrated. I took a pregnancy test at 3 days late and it was negative. Is there a possibility I may be pregnant?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Abdominal cramps and yellowish discharge are not signs of pregnancy and the chances for pregnancy is very rare in your case. You can go for beta HCG test for confirmation. It is more sensitive than urine pregnancy test and you can confirm whether you are pregnant or not. A high value of betaHCG in thousands indicates pregnancy and it is regarded as the confirmation test.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
