General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Sorry about the condition. Orbital lymphoma is a type of localised lymphoma which seen in elderly and immunocompromised individuals. Most common type is non Hodgkin's lymphoma which is type of cell in our body. Usually the diagnosis is confirmed by tissue biopsy study. If it is confirmed, the major treatment methods are radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Omnacortil is a steroid which is a supportive medication. Usually the steroids are stopped gradually by reducing the doses. I suggest not to stop the drug unless it is told by the doctor. I advice you to go for confirmation of the disease to start major mode of treatment. It is a malignant condition but controllable. Hope the problem get cured soon.
