Is Numbness In Head A Symptom Of Concussion?

My husband took a fall out of a deer stand. the ladder slipped out from under his feet from about 5ft up fell back and hit the back of his head on a concrete curb. Most the rest of his body was on top the ladder. no loss of consciousness, no congnitive issues, no problems sleeping or headaches, but states his brain feels numb like it is not there. this was 4.5 days ago. Do you think he has a concussion? He does not want to go to doctor.
