Hello and thank you for using healthcaremagic.

I understand your concern. First of all congratulations on having twins. It is very much possible to have a normal delivery with twins. I have conducted 3 twin deliveries at my health care centre. Due to constraints of space in the uterus most twins have slightly less weight and size which makes passage of the babies easier.

So normal delivery is possible.

But having said that, it is always advisable to undergo delivery at a center equipped with assisted delivery techniques, as a few conditions may warrant a cesarean(operative) delivery. Some of these include breech presentation of 1st child, sudden hypertension in mother, severe reduction in hemoglobin (anemia) to name a few.

So to summarise, if all your and the twins biological parameters are within normal limits, you can go for normal delivery, but exercise caution and alertness. Also try and get admitted yourself about 2 weeks before the expected date of delivery, as labour pain starts to occur early in these cases.

Hoping that you have a normal delivery and a joyous motherhood.

I hope I have answered your query regarding delivery with adequate information. Feel free to ask any other queries you have.

Thanks again.
