Hello and welcome,
The discharge that you describe appears to be the
cervical mucus plug that is expelled before labor. It indicates that labor may now begin at any moment and this is the first step. The urinary discomfort may be due to the babys head coming down in the pelvis and is a common phenomenon.
The
group B streptococcus is normally found in the intestines,
rectum and perineal area and may colonize the vagina in some women. So it is not sexually transmitted.
For inducing labor naturally, a walk in the morning and evening is very helpful. Use of laxatives also stimulates
labor pain but we do not recommend it. Nipple stimulation also helps in secretion of the hormone
oxytocin which is responsible for producing contractions in the uterus. Most of the time no effort is needed and women go in labor spontaneously.
All my best wishes are with you for a safe delivery.
Take care.
Hope this satisfies your query.
