Is Mild Bleeding During Early Pregnancy Normal?

Missed period. Took 4 pregnancy tests which all came back positive(Friday) which I also had a little bleeding. Also now Sunday have some bleeding. Have an appointment scheduled in a week and a half wondering if this should be concerning and what I should do next. This would be my first pregnancy so I m not sure what is ok and what is not.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Bleeding during any time during pregnancy is not a good sign. Since pregnancy test has come positive, it means that you could have conceived.

Kindly take a transvaginal ultrasound scan to know what could be the status.

This should give a more clear picture about the pregnancy status and what could be the reason for bleeding.

Kindly consult Obstetrician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
