General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Strict diabetic control is necessary to control microalbuminuria. Also the dose of telmisartan needs to be increased to maximum tolerated dose as it also controls albuminuria. Do regular exercises to increase HDL levels.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
