Hi.

Hyperthyroidism and pregnancy is a vast and huge topic which I can explain to you over at least an hour or so. But in short, the effects of hyperthyroidism during pregnancy can cause some grave consequences like still births, miscarriages, pre-term labor, pre-eclampsia, to list some. So please do not take things lightly as there is a vast ocean of knowledge relating to medicine that you are unaware of. Do not question your doctor in such situations, your doctor wants whats best for you and your baby (addressed to your daughter).

Best wishes.
