Is Low BP After Taking Lisinopril A Concern?

My husband is 65 and has high blood pressure and has been on Lisinopril for a couple of years. Today he felt dizzy a few hours after taking his no Med. Blood pressure was 67/42 has has been low all day. It s been as high as 85/57 but moves between those numbers. Should he just not take no pills tomorrow?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a physician and get evaluated.

If blood pressure is persistently low, antihypertensives like lisinopril must be stopped.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
