Is Light Spotting Despite Irregular Periods Due To A Pregnancy?

My last period was on august 9th and its been over a month now from my period. On the 9th of sept, exactly 1 month from my last period, i went to the bathroom and peed. When i wiped there was a light brown tint color on the toilet paper. It lasted for two days but now is gone. I have been pregnant in the past so i know i am fertile. My periods are extremely irregular too usually two months apart. So i was wondering what the.brown tint color means possibly. Could i be pregnant?

Hi there , I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 . First of all do not panic.

2. If you have unprotected sex act in the previous cycle, and if you have dilemma about the pregnancy, then I will suggest you to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.


3. In case of negative pregnancy test, you can simply wait for the onset of periods or induce the periods with progesterone tablets. Your treating doctor can guide you further about the doses and withdrawal bleeding of the same. .

4. Even if you are pregnant, you can continue with the pregnancy if you wish so, or else you can opt for termination of the pregnancy with medicines safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy under medical supervision.

5. Please get a proper sex counselling done. Use of suitable contraceptive method like condom, will help to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDs.
