HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your mother if the stone is not much painful then such small stone could come out with the urine better to wait for some time, but certain condition really applied here and that is there should not be any renal impairment, back pressure, (Hydronephrosis) in such condition it is better to follow the advise given by surgeon, hope this information helps, take care.
