Is Joints Pain, Anxiety And Mood Swings Suggestive Of Having Fibromyalgia?

Hi.I have a friend who is a nurse and the other day I mentioned to her I thought I was going through early menopause. I have just turned 42 and have struggled with joint pain anxiety mood swings sleepless nights and on the list goes for a while now. I have family history of arthritis and was tested for that just 6monthsbut it came back clear. After chatting to my friend and telling her all the things I could think of she came up with fibromyalgia. I had never heard of this but after looking it up on the net I found that I struggle daily with most other symptom. I am booked to go see my local gp in a couple of days but after reading about this condition and how alot of the time it foes miss diagnosed I m concerned what the outcome will be. I can t go on with all this pain and being so tired all the time I have a 3 year old to keep up with!

Hello,
I dont think you should come up to a conclusion so soon. Mood swings can be due to end number of factor. Joint pains may be due to lot of hormonal changes. Why dont you see your gynec and ortho specialist for the same issues. If you try doing some regular exercises, meditation, proper sleep and diet. i am sure you will be helped alot. Kindly do not try to google things more, as sometimes google can only be of interpretation than just a small way of healing your problems.
I find this answer helpful
