Is Joint Pain A Side Effect When Diagnosed With Respiratory Illness?

Hi, I m a 45-year-old male that is getting over an extended upper respiratory illness. I was extremely ill during the week of December 6-11th with an extreme cough and congestion. No fever. Chest x-ray was clear, although I did have rales. I was treated with antibx - first Levothyroxine, followed by Clarithromycin. I nearly lost my voice during the worst part of the illness, and although I can now speak, I remain hoarse. Throughout, and presently, I remain fatigued and just basically don t feel good. Over the last two days I have developed joint pain in my elbows and knees. Lastly, I should say that I am a smoker - x 20 years ( 1 pack per day)
