Is It Safe To Use Condoms Containing Benzocaine?

Me and my boyfriend used condoms containing benzocaine last night and when I woke up this morning to go to the toilet, it hurts and I m getting a burning/stinging sensation when I got to the toilet, is this serious? As it only happens when we use condoms that contain benzocaine

Hi.

Benzocaine is an aneasthetic used to prolong the duration of sexual intercourse, so you can choose to avoid them and just use normal condoms as well. The burning sensation could be symptoms of an infection, or possibly even an allergic reaction to those condoms. Try normal ones and then observe to see if the change in condoms helps.

Best wishes.
