Is It Safe To Take Omnacortil Along With Doxofylline And Alerfix For Asthma And Allergy?
Doctor prescribed me following medicines for allergy and asthma.Absolute Eosinophil count-1410 in Blood test. Peripheral eosinophil count- 12.8% Alerfix total for 17 days- One tablet in night.Doxofyl 400 mg for 17 days- 1/2 tablet each 2 times in a day Rabifast-DSR for 17 days- 1 Capsule before dinner Citavite for 17 days- 1 in night Clariwin 500 mg for 17 days- 1 tablets each 2 times in a day Omnacortil 40 mg for 5 days-1 tablet in morning after breakfast Omnacortil 30 mg for 3 days-1 tablet in morning after breakfast Omnacortil 20 mg for 3 days-1 tablet in morning after breakfast Omnacortil 20 mg for 3 days-1 tablet in morning after breakfast

As per my clinical experience, the omnacortil contains corticosteroid used widely for acute inflammatory condition in various clinical disorders including that of acute exacerbation of asthma attacks as an adjuvant therapy. It can be safely consumed with Doxofylline and Alerfix under medical supervision without any side effects provided taken in prescribed dose and duration of regimen.
Usually steroids are used on tapering basis in such instances and hence be cautious for avoiding long terms use without medical prescription or guidelines.
