Hello.Welcome to HCM forum. You seem to have moderate persistent allergic asthmatic bronchitis. There is absolutely no fear in using inhalers. These inhalers deliver medicines directly in your lungs and that too in one hundredth of dose of your tablet. They are very very good and absolutely safe.Consult a pulmonologist for the proper treatment. With modern medicines and style of treatment, you can remain almost normal throughout your life. Thanks and good luck.

Consult an ENT specialist. My friend is also having the same problems and was later found out to be of allergic origin. So do care of it well.

I am 59, and recently had surgery to remove a very large lipoma from my back. The surgery was done in an operating room due to the large size of the lipoma. I have a severe allergy to latex - type 1 IgE mediated with anaphylaxis, and strict latex precautions were in place. I also have severe asthma secondary to the latex allergy. I was intebated. When I was extabated, I had trouble breathing. The Anesth gave me an updraft of epinepherine, and I turned blue, and my O2 sat dropped to 70%. The epi was stoped and I recovered, but had severe chest pain. I was admitted and had the chest pain again the following morning. Evidently I showed an atypical rise in my Troponin T levels, with a negative CKMB. I also had some EKG changes. I was transferred to the large medical center, and was evaluated quite extensively - all was negative (stress echo, nuclear stress, )no angiogram was done. I was on a nitro drip and also on heparin IV. Nothing showed except this elevated troponin t level, and they discharged me without a real diagnosis after 24 hours. What do you think happened to me? Could I be allergic to epinepherine? I also showed some fluid around the heart - ? why?

I have a question about nasal congestion - I sneeze all of the time and my nose runs a lot and my nose itches a lot. I have sleep apnea and use a cpap machine. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night because I have to sneeze and my nose is running usually when this happens my whole day will consist of sneezing & runny nose. Also sometimes I hear a whistle in my chest. I do have a history of seasonal allergies (I don t remember sneezing this much) and asthma (brought on by the seasonal allergies) Please advise - Thanks!

Hi I am a 44 year old woman, 4ft 11 and 8 1/2 stone. All my life I have had asthma and various allergies. Most nights My nose runs like mad and the constant blowing makes it sore and cause the top of one nostril to split. I can guess the cause we have a dog (I m allergic to all furry animals) but have built up an immune but still have the occasional bout of sneezing, itchy eyes, ears throat etc which I am now resigned to. I just want to know how to prevent and treat the split on my nose, as vaseline only goes so far. Thanks

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... Hi, my granddaughter is 17 and is doing track that started in January. Today while she and I were sitting in church her heart began to beat fast and later she had some pains in her chest around her heart. She also had some pains in her back. When I got to her house this morning she was having really bad stomach pains, could the chest pains be related to her stomach pains or should we be concerned since I have heard of sports player falling dead with their heart? Thank you very much, Evelyn Miley
