hello doctor. my son just 9months old and he is suffering in constipation and hard stool passing from last 2 days and this is the second time it is happen.his dr. prescribe him lactitol monohydrate syrup.is it safe for my son?kindly advice.regards, syama sundar panda kolkata

I really appreciate your concern, it this is the hard stool consistency then it may not be constipation in pure form but it could be due to less water intake, no need to manage the condition with too many agents but just try plenty off water and no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
