Is It Safe To Take Gestrenol With Ecosprin During Pregnancy?

hi, I am pregnant of 14 weeks now. I had a history of missed abortion during 7 months of my pregnancy last year. It was an IUD, induced pregnancy. I took Letrozol 7.5 gm per day last time & this time also. Now 2 different doctor prescribed me 2 types of prescription. Both of them prescribed for Gestrenol. But 1 doctor asked for ecospirin 75 mg till from 1st month to till 34 weeks & another doctor didin t give ecospirin. which one should I follow. Please answer me.

Hi,

Yes, these prescribed medications are considered to be safe during pregnancy. Gestrenol contains a synthetic progesterone (Allylestrenol) commonly prescribed during pregnancy to prevent miscarriage. Ecosprin is also commonly prescribed during pregnancy to increase the chances of pregnancy and liver births among women who have had experienced one or more miscarriages. When taken together, these two drugs would help to prevent miscarriage. Take the medications as advised.
