The common side effects seen with the use of Forteo include: Immediate side effects like nausea, joint aches, pain, leg cramps, and injection site pain, swelling and bruising. Delayed side effects like a decrease in blood pressure when you change positions. This usually happens within 4 hours of taking and goes away within a few hours which can be minimised if you can sit or lie down right away if you get these symptoms.
