General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, I really appreciate your concern. Dexorange capsules can cause side effects like gastric disturbances in the form of diarrhea or constipation, stomach cramps, gastritis, nausea, black stools etc. But these are not severe usually and the person can become adjusted to the tablets after few days. I advise your friend to take tablet after lunch to decrease the possibility of nausea and gastritis. Advise her to swallow extended-release capsules whole with full glass of water. Do not crush or chew extended-release capsules or tablets. Doing so can release all of the drug at once, increasing the risk of side effects.
Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
