Is It Safe To Take Clavix And Tonact For Hemiplegia After A Brain Stroke?
Hello doctor. My father is a brain stroke patient, age-59, now he is partially paralysed ( hemiplegia ), he is taking clavix - (Clopidogrel 75mg n Aspirin 75mg) Tonact-20mg.And nurokind lc for legs jerking while sleeping weak heart is a hereditary problem with him.Is this okay to continue these medicines for a long period of time? Or should we take precaution
As per what you have shared it seems it is because of heart problem that your father had a stroke. I hope he is not diabetic or hypertensive. The 3 medications he is on right now ass you have mentioned are essential medications for him it would be a risk to discontinue them with almost 60 years of age. I would suggest you to continue them and get him also monitor his sugars along with blood pressure and avoid pressure sores.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
