Yes cipro can definitely be used along with chemotherapy for a UTI, this drug is very effective and have been shown to have great coverage over the bugs which cause UTI commonly. To address your concerns about the possible reaction of cipro with chemo drugs I will like to mention here that Cipro has no documented alarming adverse effect when used in a patient with chemo going on, it is in fact recommended for prophylaxis of infections in such patients.
