Is It Safe To Take Benzos To Treat Panic Disorder?

I have a panic disorder. Could it have been caused by drink spiking? I got an eco test about 8 months ago and the doctors claimed that they have found something funny with my heart. I am currently taking benzos that don t really work unless my mind believes it.

Dear Patient,

although normally very efficient in calming people down, the problem with benzos is that there is a high potential of addiction. The reason for panic disorder is mostly a psychological issue best treated by psychotherapy. If you give more info about your specific echo result i can say more about that. Some heart conditions may set of panic attacs by causing palpitations.
Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons or like to tell me your echo result you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
