Hello,

You have veins under the eyes, you want to get it surgically removed. You have artificial heart valve. All surgical procedures have side effects, removal of veins under the eyes are commonly done by sclerotherapy or laser therapy. The surgical procedures can cause blood clots, embolus to the retinal veins. Lasers are relatively safer but do cause blood clots or infection.

You are advised to consult your Cardiologist before going through ant type of under the eye surgery. Artificial heart valves are prone to blood clots that can cause stroke, heart attack, infection. Sometimes, infection may cause breathing problems, arrhythmias, in the new valve (endocarditis), which may lead to valve replacement.

It is associated with side effects; nothing is 100% safe. Consult your Cardiologist. You may have to get required tests done to confirm if you are fit to go for surgery or not.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
