Is It Safe To Have Primolut Injection And Duphaston Tablet During Pregnancy?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? I am 6 weeks pregnant, due to my irregular periods and obesity the doctor receommended that i take Primolut Depot 250 mg injection and duphaston 10 mg 1 tablet once a day for 30 days - Please advice if this is safe. I have 2 kids already ages 6 and 4. I never took any injections or medication of this sought when i was pregnant with them. Please advice. Thank you

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Primolut and duphastone are progesterone which are given to make the uterine environment more favourable For the fetus and hence help in sustaining the pregnancy.
These arecompletely safe in pregnancy without causing any adverse effects on the mother and fetus.
