Dear Doctor (Pediatrician)
I am writing for my 2 year old baby boy. He is lean and I heard that soyabean is rich source of vitamins & minerals compared to other foods in this catagory. So I decided to give soyabean for my boy for attain weight. Recently I searched about soyabean in internet and found many negative response to give childs that It contains female hormons etc. Please advice me facts about the soyabean and is dangerous for kids especially for baby boy ?. Its very helpful to me and others also.
Hi Dear Welcome to the board of Health care Magic. Soyabean is a good source of protein, hence it should help in gaining weight provided you are giving it in a suffecient quantity. I do not think much negative about giving soyabean to children.Every article in the net may not be authentic or accurate. You have to take the opinion from an practically sound experienced personnel. So, Mm do not hesitate in giving soyabean to your child, but along with that food should be balanced enough to provide all the necessary composition like fat, carbohydrates, vitamins and micro nutrients. Hope your query is answered Thanks
