Is It Safe To Give Appetite Stimulants To Child To Get Proper Nutrition?
Good morning,My 16 months old baby fails to thrive because she simply refuses to eat, except bananas and oranges. I am concerned that she might get sick from not getting the nutrition her body requires. Kindly advise whether appetite stimulants are safe to use or if there s anything else you recommend. In my opinion iron supplementation should be tried in her as it is safe and effective.
Most of the standard appetite stimulants are safe but beware of substandard appetizers which may contain steroids or other harmful substances.
