Is It Safe To Get A Tattoo While Taking Blood Thinners?

Hi my girl friend would like me to get a tattoo and I m into it but have an artificial heart valve on the aorta and a ring on the bicuspise ibeleaveits called. I Take blood thinners and am wondering if I may bleed to much even for it to take. My blood has always had high coagulation rate but bleeds longer than it use to on warfarin. Is it one safe for me and two worth it if the ink dose not take. Start small I guess. Could you give me advice on this thank you.

Related your concern I want to emphasis that it is not safe for you to get a tatoo not only for the reason that taking blood thinner you could have a risk for a prolonged bleeding but even for the reason of that you have a higher risk to do endocarditis based on your history( artificial heart valve).You should know that get tattoo damage the structure of your skin and this could be an entry door for the infections in your body that in your conditions could cause endocarditis.
