Yes, if she has a chronic health condition she would be a priority. She should get the shot, not the mist as the mist is only given to people without chronic health conditions.

My 9 year old son has been ill with various bugs, infections since October 2010, including d&v, coughs, bad cold, flu and then probably swine flu over Christmas. The doctor did various blood tests to see if there was an underlying reason and they came back today with low white blood cells. She's said she'll retest in 3 weeks. Should we be concerned? Thanks

Hi

i was wondering why ever since the first outbreak of swine flu (2009)which i believe i had, i keep getting a recurring virus every few months with all the same kind of symptoms. Could it be swine flu recurring or a weakened immune system that causes this?

I got the swine flu five months ago and I have RA. I was hospitalized for five days and they gave me the anti viral drugs along with prednisone. I recently became ill with what seems to be sinus infection. I'm experiencing regurgitation and sore throat that feels swollen and I can't eat, cause it is really uncomfortable do to the severity of the inflammation and pain that radiates to my left ear. I'm on antibiotics for like the fourth time since I got the H1n1. Should I be worried? Can you have complications this far out after the initial onset of the flu?

My son is doing a research paper on the Swine Flu. We're trying to find out which organs and body systems are affected by the virus, its symptoms, which part of the population is affected (gender, age, etc.), and if the epidemic only occurs at a certain time of the year. Thank you.
