Is It Ok To Smoke Before My Colonoscopy?

I am having a colonoscopy July 24. I am 19 years of age, female and I have ulcerative colitis. I am turning 20 in August. I take Asacol, and imuran. I have been in remission for more than 2 years. I smoke marijuana everyday for my symptoms and UC. Is it ok to smoke before my colonoscopy? And after? Thank you!

hi, good to know that you are under long term remission of ulcerative coliis.
Even though smoking marijuana will alleviate symptoms of U.C, it will have profound effects on your health over long term. I strongly recommend you to give away the habit and be on drugs ( I mean medicines). There are number of chances for remission for UC but there will not be any remissions for addiction.
Keep this in mind and try for de-addiction. All the best.
