Is It Ok To Miss Couple Of Pills While On Course On Contraceptive Pills?

I am on the levest 150/30 coated tablets contraceptive pill. I missed a pill in my third week, so read what to do and was planning on finishing the strip and missing my week break going straight on to the next pack. However I have just realised I have missed a second pill in this third week. What should I do please?

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, it is not advisable to miss the oral contraceptive pills on random basis as it makes you vulnerable to become pregnant in few cases.

* If the forgotten pill can be taken within next 24 hours period ,it is well and good, but if beyond 24 hours period is elapsed - it is not recommended to consume that dose.

* It is recommended to use additional tool of contraception as condom till next menses cycle, during which you are predicted not to miss any dose of OC pills.
