Hi,

Shingle's vaccine is an injection that contains many things. Any contents can cause local reaction with redness and swelling. Second commonest cause is related to hematoma formation. Impeding infection post-inflammation.

I would advise you to wait and watch. You can take plain Paracetamol if the pain is more. Local application of ice or warm compresses may help you. Consult your Doctor if there is no improvement within a few days or if the size of swelling or symptoms keep on increasing for extermination, any investigations and any additional treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
