My 16 year old son said his heart is racing, and it is, and that he feels very anxious even though he's not doing anything. he's been working out very hard lately but it's been several hours. He says this always happens whe he exercises a lot. Does that seem normal?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, it some times happen, the reason being anemia, or some cardiac cause. I advise you to consult a cardiologist to exclude the cardiac problem. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms hematinics, protein supplements, ranitidine. Give him more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods, to have a early recovery, and to have good resistance. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
