Is It Normal To Experience Irregular Periods While On Medroxyprogesterone And Estradiol?

Hello, I have recently been put on Medroxyprogesterone and Estradiol for Menopause. I’ve been on it for 3 weeks and have had a period “irregular” for all but 5 days. I don’t think this is normal. I e,ailed my doctor and the response I got was it takes your body 1-2 months to get used to the meds. Is this normal? I want to stop asking them.
Thank you,
Karen

Hi,

Your doctors opinion is correct. How many Medroxy progesterone tablet you are taking daily along with daily Oestrogen? It might take 1 or 2 cycles time if you are taking Continuously.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
