Is It Normal For Stitches Of Vaginal Repair To Hang Out Of The Vagina?

I had an anterior and posterior vaginal repair on sept 9. The stitches are just now starting to come out. They are just hanging there and very uncomfortable. I also have a flap of skin that bothers me. The only way I can explain it is a vaginal hemroid, I know that can t happen but that s what it looks like. Doesn t hurt or itch. I can just feel it. Is that normal? I don t go back to my doctor until October 20.
