Is It Essential To Visit Urgent Care For Stiffness And Swelling In Hands?

My husband fell in the garage and landed on top of his hand. It was fisted as he fell and his body landed on top of his hand. There isn t much pain, but stiffness and swelling in his hand. He took Aleve yesterday and it wasn t swollen until this morning. Still no pain, mostly swelling and stiffness in the knuckle area, just a little painful. Not sure how to continue as it doesn t seem serious enough to go to the ER.thank you.
