Is It Advisable To Walk After The Bleeding From A Cut Under The Foot?

I put a bandaid on a cut under my foot, and I started working at a job that has me canvassing local areas for 5+ hours at a time with no rest... at the end of the day, I had blood all over my socks because it was opened larger. Is it better to stay off my foot? I do have work still and not sure if I should go in because there s no other option than to be on my foot again for more intense walking.
