Is It Advisable To Have Cataract And Glaucoma Surgery While Suffering With Respiratory Disorder?

I delayed having Cataract surgery for 2 ½ years because I was convinced that my serious illness would interfere with eyes surgery. Then, in May 2010, the Cataract surgeon determined that I now need serious Glaucoma surgery in addition to Cataract surgery, which still has not been performed. I have been suffering for 3 years with an unbalanced, dizzy condition of my head, which includes a respiratory problem and which 9 or 10 family doctors and (non-ENT) specialists had not been able to diagnose. It now appears that a family doctor and an Allergy specialist gave me erroneous advice/test result conclusions in 2008 and 2009. I thought that I found the answer in July 2010 when an Otolaryngologist said I have severe Allergies, which I now believe had originally resulted from the use of the prescription drug Zyprexa in 2007. There was no legitimate medical reason for using Zyprexa, but I had taken the drug for 3 or 4 months only because of a bizarre set of circumstances. In July 2010, the ear, nose and throat specialist prescribed Nasonex, but my suffering then became worse. When I had a second appointment 6 weeks later, he prescribed Astepro and told me to use it in addition to Nasonex. But, this has made my suffering even worse and my suffering is now worse than before I first consulted the Otolaryngologist. After using these nasal sprays, my dizzy head condition also now includes a heavy, foggy state for the rest of the day. I don’t know how many other nasal sprays are available for severe Allergies, but am now wondering if I can expect the same thing to happen when using any nasal spray for severe Allergies. My medical situation is so unusual because this apparent severe allergic reaction to the Zyprexa that I had taken for 3 or 4 months in 2007 was not diagnosed or treated until just July 2010. The Otolaryngologist did NOT say whether he thought my severe Allergy condition resulted from Zyprexa or was just the usual severe Allergy affliction. Is the treatment for both the same? I checked the websites of Nasonex and Astepro and neither provides any information of this nature. The personnel of Astepro were very uncooperative and the Nasonex website has no e-mail contact capabilities. And, it’s very difficult to explain my complicated situation on the phone. My main question is whether or not it’s normal for a person to experience temporary increased suffering from using Nasonex, Astepro and other nasal sprays for Allergies if they have had a severe allergic reaction problem (to Zyprexa or other such drugs) that was not diagnosed or treated for 3 years? Or is it likely that the Otolaryngologist has made an inaccurate diagnosis? I have been thinking about getting a second opinion from another local ENT specialist who uses Videonystagmography (VNG) Testing. However, I have gotten the impression from their website that VNG Testing probably would be a waste of time because of my Cataracts and serious Glaucoma (I am nearly blind in one eye and have Cataracts on both eyes). Considering my Cataract/Glaucoma, is my assumption concerning VNG Testing correct or not? Unfortunately, the time frame for me to have this respiratory problem resolved so that Cataract/Glaucoma surgery can be scheduled is now becoming critical. Therefore, I don’t want to discontinue using Nasonex and Astepro if it’s normal for patients (with a lengthy undiagnosed/untreated severe Allergic reaction problem) to temporarily experience increased suffering before any improvement is noticed.
