Is Irregular Heartbeat A Side Effect Of Anastrozole?

Hi, I am experiencing slight irregular heart beat episodically over last few weeks. I have been on a therapy program of Testosterone injections 2 x a week, HGH injections 5 x per week, and HCG 2 x per week. I also take Armour Thyroid once a day. I was also taking Anastrozole once a week but stopped 1 week ago. I experienced this irregular heartbeat a few times throughout my adult life but not this often. Anastrozole has this as a possible side effect. Does this sound like its related to that medication?

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the Anastrozole is non steroidal aromatase inhibitor used in variety of clinical conditions including HER 2 neu positive breast cancers. Among many possible side effects of the Anastrozole, your concern is cardiac in terms of altered pulse rhythm. There are reported instances in disturbances of myocardial blood supply with the drug also.

It is recommended to take an EKG with your consultant for further guidelines.
